Charlotte Davis, soprano, is originally from Tucson, Arizona. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Arizona, and a Master of Arts degree in Vocal Performance from Stephen F. Austin State University. While at SFA, Mrs. Davis was named an All-American Scholar, was inducted into Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society, and won first place in the Texoma Regional audition of NATS. She has studied voice with Paul Kreider, Eugene Conley, Elizabeth Mosher, and Debbie Berry. Her stage experience includes leading roles in productions of Oklahoma!, The Tales of Hoffmann, A Little Night Music, Susannah, Albert Herring, The Impresario, and The Sound of Music. Mrs. Davis performs regularly in the East Texas area, and is the choir director and soloist at Memorial Presbyterian Church in San Augustine. She has taught voice at Angelina College since 1992, and also teaches music appreciation. Mrs. Davis is a member of the East Texas Alumnae chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, a member of NATS, and serves on the board of directors of the SFA Music Preparatory division. She lives in Nacogdoches with her husband and two children.
