SFA Wind Symphony

This band used to be known as Chamber Winds. Begun in the Fall of 2000, Chamber Winds was originally conceived as a small group with one player per part. As the School of Music and the band program have continued to grow in recent years, this group has seen expansion into a full-size band. The new name, Wind Symphony, better reflects its current goals: the performance of core repertoire along with some new compositions, and occasional performances with guest artists and SFA faculty.
The Wind Symphony meets the needs of music majors and non-majors alike. It is open to students of all majors, by audition only.
