  • Symphony No. 2 in D minor, Op. 43 by Jean Sibelius

  • Concerto for two clarinets in E-flat major by Franz Krommer
  • Gary Jones and Cesar Montelongo, clarinets

  • Capriccio Espagnol by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov

Required Dress

Required dress for concerts: men—black tux with white shirt/black bow tie; women—long black dress (preferred), skirt or nice slacks (not jeans or casual cotton pants). With skirt or slacks, a black blouse or top that fully overlaps or tucks in the skirt/slacks.

Woodwinds and Brass

Woodwind and brass auditions will be held on Sunday, August 28 by appointment only.

By registering for an audition, it is understood that you have the following rehearsal and performance dates free and without conflict during the Fall 2017 semester.

Strings

All strings will audition for placement (violins) and seating (all sections) on Sunday, August 28, 6-9 p.m. General call times for instruments will be sent by email and posted on the orchestra board just outside of MUS170 one week prior to the audition date.
